Drew Richardson (aka Drew the Dramatic Fool) is best known as the first person in the 21st century to have new short silent movies shown before major motion pictures. Besides being a silent film star in the wrong century, Drew has been creating solo stage shows for the past twenty five years, which he has performed from Austin to Austria. He first studied visual comedy theatre with John Towsen at Ohio University, and later with Jacques Lecoq in Paris. As a guest-teaching artist, Drew has taught for many universities, festivals, and theatre companies including Point Park Conservatory for Performing Arts, University of Michigan, MotionFest, QuestFest, and 500 Clown. Mab Just Mab, DC’s Own Sideshow Girl, combines artistry and pain to create hilarious & compelling entertainment. A glasswalker and blockhead, escape artist and ukulele fanatic, she is a tenured freak at DC’s notorious sideshow venue & museum, The Palace of Wonders. Mab has as been featured in several documentaries and books on the sideshow revival, and performs solo, with The Accidental Circus, and as a pillar of the Cheeky Monkey Sideshow. mabjustmab.com

Mandy Dalton |

Mandy Dalton is a professional comic actress and clown. She has been performing professionally for over 29 years throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. Her education in clowning started at the Ringling Brothers Clown College (1982) and her training includes work at the Moscow Art Theater School among many other schools. Her clown credits include work at the John F. Kennedy Center, The Central Intelligence Agency, Arena Stage, and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission. www.MandyDalton.com |

Mark, much loved, was still dropped a lot as a child. His uncanny ability to "take a licking and keep on ticking" made his parents see dollar signs (not by presenting him on stage to paying audiences, but by foregoing his college education.) As a result TV educated him. His only choice was to become a variety entertainer and a mail order cardiologist in his spare time. More than a decade later he has traveled miles across North America spreading smiles and laughter into the hearts of many.

Matthew Pauli, co-Producer of Clown Cabaret, is a 1991 graduate of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and has been clowning ever since. He appears regularly at corporate events, street festivals, fairs and picnics and in his stage shows. His work as a clown has taken him around the U.S. and as far as Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Since 1999, he has been proud to be part of the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Program, performing at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. For 6 years he toured with The Big Apple Circus sharing the role of Grandma with creator and International Clown Hall of Fame inductee Barry Lubin. www.matthewpauli.net |

Karen Beriss |

Karen Beriss, co-producer and emcee of this month's Clown Cabaret has been a professional magician for over 15 years. Performing at trade shows around the world, her magic and dry sense of humor - combined with corporate messaging skills - have captured the eyes of the press including National Public Radio, Market Place and The Wall Street Journal. She is super excited to have just joined the Big Apple Circus Clown Care program performing at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Karen is a regular at The Comedy Zone in Washington DC. She trained in improv and acting with Second City in New York. And she has performed for celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Kirstie Alley, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, the Washington Capitals and Robert Goulet. Most recently she worked with Leon Redbone.
