Sword swallower and sleight of hand expert Fox has appeared at venues including comedy clubs (such as Caroline's), casinos, and tattoo conventions, as well as special events such as an Aerosmith album release party.[2][3] His television appearances include the Late Show with David Letterman, a 1992 Jonathan Winters television special, and a Maalox commercial in which he swallowed light bulbs.[3][2][4] He was featured in the 2003 documentary Traveling Sideshow: Shocked and Amazed by Jeff Krulik.[3] Although he performed among other acts presented throughout the weekend-long festival, following entertainment by the band, Radio-Free Carmela [1] on May 1, 2009, Fox was honored as the featured performer at the opening ceremony of the annual Avenida de Colores, [2] a festival of chalk painting by professional artists from around the world and talented local school children on closed streets in historic Burns Square in Sarasota.[5] His act also closed the festival. Drew is a performer here in DC who has appeared with Faction of Fools, Constellation an Capital Fringe. He is accompanied by Tony Vorell is a songwriter for Herzog and Expecting Rain, two Cleveland slacker rock bands who have received great notice from music critics all across the internet, including NPR. Tony and Drew attended high school and college together on Cleveland. |

Unfortunate Glen |

Unfortunate Glen is an actor, educator, graphic and web designer, and clown. Recent acting credits include a national tour with the American Shakespeare Center of The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, and Henry Vin repertory; Richard III and Pride & Prejudice with the Shakespeare Theatre of NJ; Proof with TheatreFest; A Midsummer Night's Dream with the American Globe Theatre; and the film Cult of Sincerity, recently broadcast on PBS. He has also taught workshops and classes in Classical Text, Acting Shakespeare, and Clown as a teaching artist for the Shakespeare Theatre Company and at other venues including Broadway Theatre Workshop, Knox College, and The Center for Baroque & Renaissance Studies' summer program. He received his MFA at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University. BFA, Montclair State University. |

Lola Rose is a classically trained dancer who uses her talent and technique to create delightfully fun burlesque routines. She has been seen dancing en pointe in a tutu; drunkenly kicking the Charleston around the bar room; and strip teasing as Sloth from the Goonies. Annetta Dexter-Sawyer |

Annetta Dexter Sawyer is a local performing artist, adjunct professor of Fine Arts, and an awarded teaching artist and poet. She performs movement-based theatre, dances spoken word performance art, and enjoys working with other theatre artists, especially doing physical theatre. She often clowns with Steven Lampredi as the duet of Pipo & Nini', a traditional European-styled act. Her last Clown Cabaret appearance was as her bufon character the Excuse Me Lady. Annetta is a proud Associate Artist with Faction of Fools Theatre Company. |

Matthew Pauli, co-Producer of Clown Cabaret, is a 1991 graduate of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College and has been clowning ever since. He appears regularly at corporate events, street festivals, fairs and picnics and in his stage shows. His work as a clown has taken him around the U.S. and as far as Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Since 1999, he has been proud to be part of the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Program, performing at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. For 6 years he toured with The Big Apple Circus sharing the role of Grandma with creator and International Clown Hall of Fame inductee Barry Lubin. www.matthewpauli.net |

Karen Beriss, co-producer and emcee of this month's Clown Cabaret has been a professional magician for over 15 years. Performing at trade shows around the world, her magic and dry sense of humor - combined with corporate messaging skills - have captured the eyes of the press including National Public Radio, Market Place and The Wall Street Journal. She is super excited to have just joined the Big Apple Circus Clown Care program performing at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Karen is a regular at The Comedy Zone in Washington DC. She trained in improv and acting with Second City in New York. And she has performed for celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Kirstie Alley, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, the Washington Capitals and Robert Goulet. Most recently she worked with Leon Redbone.
