Karen Montanaro

Karen is a solo performer, an award-winning choreographer, and the innovator of "mimedance" (the fusion of two classical art forms). Karen studied ballet at the Cantarella School of Dance, the Ram Island Dance Center and on scholarship with the Joffrey Ballet School. She danced professionally with the Ohio Ballet and the Darmstadt Opera Ballet in Germany. Upon moving back to the Unites States, Karen also danced principal roles with the Portland Ballet Company. For more than a decade, Karen toured and taught internationally with mime master, Tony Montanaro. She currently tours the world with her one-woman show entitled "Tanzspiel."

The day after our show, she is also teaching a movement workshop in Silver Spring, MD on October 10, 2017

Sabrina Mandell

Sabrina Mandell is the Artistic Co-Director and Visionary Tornado of Happenstance Theater a company she founded in 2006. She is also a performer, clown, costume designer, poet, visual artist and occasionally teaches. She is delighted to return to Clown Cabaret as Diz Aster of Vaudeville's Late Bloomers.

Graham Pilato

Graham Pilato is an actor and a tutor and he currently lives in Seattle. He got his MFA in Acting at the Catholic University of America after having appeared in several Baltimore and Washington D.C. area theatres, including Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, Constellation Theatre, the Maryland Renaissance Festival, Scena Theatre, The Welders, Faction of Fools, and Happenstance Theater. He also leads Borealis Theatre, a DC area interactive performance group that stages happenings and plays on streets and stages. He is often both balder and much more impressive in person than he looks in his headshots.

Nicole Skelly

One half of the popular Steele Sisters comedy sword fighting show, Gwendolyn Steele (Nicole Skelly) is making her way in the world solo. What kind of trouble can she get into? Join in as Gwendolyn explores life, the universe, and how to get a date!
